Adelphi Trust Company CEO Katie Pemble Hornsby Wins Tampa Bay Business and Wealth’s Women Who Win Award for Entrepreneurship

Tampa, Fla., May 6, 2025Adelphi Trust Company is proud to announce that CEO and Board Chair Katie Pemble Hornsby has won Tampa Bay Business and Wealth prestigious Women Who Win Award in the “Entrepreneur” category.

Katie was initially named a finalist in her category in recognition of her visionary leadership, business achievements, and community involvement—attributes that ultimately led to her selection as the category winner during the awards ceremony at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tampa on May 2nd.

The Women Who Win Awards honor distinguished female leaders in the Tampa Bay region who have dedicated themselves to their industries and communities. Finalists were selected based on business and professional success, civic involvement, and mentorship.

She has served on numerous nonprofit and civic boards, including the United Way, Tampa Bay Partnership, St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Bayfront Health System, Pinellas County Education Foundation, Foundation for a Healthy St. Pete, the American Heart Association of Tampa Bay, Orlando Health Bayfront Philanthropy Council, and the SPCA of Tampa Bay.  

The Women Who Win Awards program was created by Tampa Bay Business and Wealth to celebrate women who lead and inspire the regional business community. Nominations were submitted by community members and evaluated anonymously by an independent panel of judges to ensure fairness and impartiality.
