Beth A. Horner is currently President, Chief Legal Officer & Chief Trust Officer at
Third Lake Capital, LLC, a single-family office where she administers trusts and monitors complex estate plans. She previously was the EVP and Chief Trust Officer at The Bank of Tampa, a local community bank, where she also served on the Executive Committee. Prior to her time with The Bank of Tampa, Beth was a Senior Trust Officer with two national banks for 11 years. Before working as a corporate trustee, Beth was a practicing attorney who specialized in Probate, Trust and Guardianship law with the St. Petersburg law firm of Harris, Barrett, Mann and Dew for six years and then concentrated on Trust and Guardianship litigation while practicing with Steven L. Hearn, P.A. in Tampa for two years.
Beth was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996. She is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section of the Florida Bar and the St. Petersburg Bar Association. She received her JD from Stetson College of Law, her MA in Education from the University of North Texas and her BS from Florida State University.
Beth currently serves on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay and the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg. She previously served on the Boards of Parc, Center for Disabilities, the St. Petersburg College Foundation, St. Petersburg Bar Foundation, and Bayfront Hospital.
