Job Summary/Purpose
The Trust Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Chief Operations Officer, Chief Fiduciary Officer and the Management Team. Trust Associate will have client contact as needed to fulfill the job responsibilities. Trust Associate will work on special projects and make suggestions for process improvements and efficiency within the office.  

We are looking for a hardworking individual interested in the financial and trust sector. This position will wear many hats, learn a lot about investment and trust management and have the ability for advancement in a growing company.

Job duties and responsibilities include

  • Responsible for office reception coverage, answering incoming phone calls and assisting those callers with their inquiry and routing to the correct Adelphi employee. General office management including but not limited to printing, scanning, and office supply management.
  • Responsible for creating a smooth transition when on-boarding and opening new client accounts
  • Responsible for completion of initial and annual Reg-9 reviews
  • Coordination and distributions for trust relationships
  • Client communications of account opening documents, statements, and ongoing client maintenance
  • Assist with researching and onboarding a CRM system
  • Works with Chief Compliance Officer to assist with vendor management
  • Assists with board and committee meetings, as needed
  • Work closely with members of the senior management team on special projects 
  • Schedule meetings as requested and assist with client meetings as needed
  • Support marketing and business development efforts

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently obtaining (preferred) 
    • Bachelor’s degree can be substituted with 2 years of trust experience
  • Some financial or trust experience (preferred)
  • Demonstrated detail orientation and ability to multi-task priorities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to communicate confidently with clients
