Adelphi Trust Company Chief Fiduciary Officer Gentry Barnett Byrnes Appointed to St. Pete Free Clinic Board of Directors

Tampa, Fla., March 26, 2025Adelphi Trust Company is pleased to share that Gentry Barnett Byrnes, Co-Founder and Chief Fiduciary Officer, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the St. Pete Free Clinic (SPFC). This appointment underscores both Gentry’s unwavering commitment to community service and Adelphi Trust Company’s dedication to supporting the local community’s well-being.

The St. Pete Free Clinic is a nonprofit organization that addresses critical social determinants of health through programs that provide nutritious food and healthcare access. SPFC’s comprehensive approach helps reduce economic burdens for Pinellas County’s low-income and Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE) populations, contributing to long-term economic stability and wellness for individuals and families.

“I am honored to join the St. Pete Free Clinic’s Board of Directors,” said Byrnes. “Their holistic approach to health equity aligns with my belief that community strength comes from addressing fundamental needs. I look forward to contributing to their mission of creating pathways to health and economic stability for our neighbors.”

Byrnes brings extensive leadership experience to this role, having previously served on the boards of Brookwood, A Young Women’s Residence, and Great Explorations Children’s Museum and held leadership positions in her church. Additionally, she is a past president of both the St. Petersburg Bar Association and the Suncoast Estate Planning Council and remains actively involved in both organizations.

Currently, Byrnes serves as treasurer of the St. Petersburg Bar Foundation, chairs the Will for Warriors program at Stetson College of Law, and is a founding member of the Professional Fiduciary Council of Florida.
